- じゅうにひとえ【十二単】(1)平安時代以降行われた女房装束に対する後世の俗称。 袿(ウチキ)を一二枚重ねて着たことによるという。→ 女房装束(2)シソ科の多年草。 高さ約15センチメートル。 全体に白毛を密生する。 葉は長楕円形。 春， 茎の先の花穂に淡紫色の唇形の小花が何段にも重なってつく。 ウツボグサ。 ﹝季﹞春。
